Time: the most valuable commodity there is

Well I did not work on the bus yesterday. Instead, after work I bought dog food then went to Chef's Market. Tonight I will not work on it either as there is an event at Clos du Val that I am attending. Tomorrow I am hosting my friend from Egypt for the day and taking him wine tasting, and Sunday is Father's Day. You can see where I'm going with this - nowhere, fast. Not enough hours in the day! In the meantime (does that count as a pun? becuase this post is sort of about not having time) here is a picture of the back of the bus.

From this angle you can see where the bottom pane of the driver's-side louvered window is broken out. It has been this way for several years. Yesterday I realized that this gaping hole has probably caused the floor pan under the window to rust out severely. This is a problem that I will avoid addressing until the last possible minute. It is also a reason that I need that power tools set; so I can get a drill and put a rust-scrubber thing on it and grind off all the rust from the various patches where rust has begun to grow (moar liek been growing for a long long time, specifically under the drivers floor mat, along the lower lip of the windshield frame, under the battery tray, probably under this window), and paint over the ground-down rust-free raw metal with some sort of rust-stopping paint like Rust-O-Leum until I can get patches welded in...

But all of that has to wait until I actually get a running motor in the dang thing, which will require me to actually have time to work on the motor, which will be... someday brodda. I on Island Time.
